Patrícia Vieira

Patrícia Vieira is Research Professor at the Center for Social Studies (CES) of the University of Coimbra. Her most recent edited book is The Environment in Brazilian Culture: Literature, Cinema and the Arts (The University Press of Florida, 2025). She coordinates the project ECO – Animals and Plants in Cultural Productions about the Amazon River Basin financed by a European Research Council Consolidator grant and co-coordinates the project RESILIENT – Forest Cities: Utopia and Development in the Modern Amazon, financed by the Gerda Henkel Foundation.
