We live in times of climatic, environmental, social, mental, and spiritual catastrophes, in a fractured planet in which entire worlds are silenced by colonial habitation and capitalist exploitation. How did we get here? And how can we imagine futures—not ideal, but possible—within the cracks that persist? This event seeks to reflect on these questions through a transdisciplinary debate focused on decolonial arts and experiences that evoke counter-hegemonic images, narratives, poetics, and sounds—against domination, invasion, and the expropriation of world-territories. The aim is to foster dialogue and alliance among different ecologies of knowledge and practices, especially those rooted in the wisdom and sensibilities of Indigenous, quilombola, Afro-diasporic, and other-than-human peoples.
