A guided visit to the exhibition “Post-Extractivism in the Amazon: Utopias and Ruins of Development – Photographs by Christian Braga” was held, with the participation of 17 students and 3 teachers from Colégio AIACOM (Armazém de Ideias e Ações Comunitárias). Aged between 11 and 13, the students were welcomed into the exhibition space by one of the project’s artistic curators, Nelson Ricardo Martins, who delivered a brief introductory presentation on the exhibition’s central theme. The presentation addressed, in an accessible and dialogical manner, the harmful impacts of extractive enterprises on the Amazon rainforest, highlighting the environmental, social, and territorial transformations resulting from these processes.
