The volume brings together previously published poems, as well as unpublished poetry and aphorisms, by the Amazonian poet Juan Carlos Galeano. Published for the first time in Portuguese, in a bilingual edition, this poetry offers a panorama of the Amazon rainforest and the ties that bind the region’s Indigenous and riverside communities with the more than human beings with whom they share their lives.
