Renato Sztutman

Renato Sztutman es profesor del Departamento de Antropología de la Universidad de São Paulo (USP). Tiene una maestría (2000) y un doctorado (2005) en Antropología Social por la USP, en el campo de la etnología indígena. Realizó una estancia posdoctoral en 2015 en el Departamento de Filosofía de la Universidad Paris Ouest Nanterre. Actualmente dirige el Centro de Estudios Amerindios de la USP (CEstA-USP). Entre 2013 y 2017 fue redactor jefe de la Revista de Antropología (Departamento de Antropología de la USP). Fundó y coeditó, entre 1997 y 2007, la revista Sexta-Feira. Algunas de sus principales publicaciones son el libro O profeta e o principal: a ação política ameríndia e seus personagens (Edusp/Fapesp, 2012) y la colección Eduardo Viveiros de Castro: entrevistas (Azougue, 2008). Sus principales áreas de investigación son: Cosmopolítica indígena, los vínculos entre filosofía y antropología, antropología y cine.
